Welcome to the These Championships are open to both US Citizens and foreign riders; the rider just has to be a member of a particpating USDF GMO at the time of qualification. The Championships were founded by Dr. Samuel Barish, the current President of the United States Dressage Federation ( USDF) and are sponsored by Group Member Organizations within USDF Region 1 and the numerous qualifying shows. Even BIGGER Rule Changes for 2009!! After much thought, discussion, and consideration the CBLM Championships has voted in more NEW RULES for 2009: --> Riders at the USEF and USDF levels may now show in consecutive levels that they have qualified for - no more having to choose. --> The Division B requitement now has a YEAR LIMIT to it. If you have not ridden at the level specified for that division for FIVE YEARS, you are allowed to compete in Division A for that level. --> The 2009 CBLM Finals classes WILL be qualifiers for the 2010 season. --> All FEI Pony, Junior, and Young Rider tests have been corresponded with the USEF level according to the 2009 USEF Rule book (exception: FEI Young Rider Freestyle will still ride USDF Fourth Level Freestyle). And to recap, you only have to receive to minimum percentage, be a member at the time of qualifying of a participating USDF GMO and it is still the RIDER'S responsibiblity to submit the CBLM qualification form to the Qualifying secretary. Please review all of the 2009 Rules to insure your understanding of how these Championships are run. The 2009 Championships will be hosted by the ESDCTA at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, NJ, October 9 - 11. There will BLM Qualifying shows in Florida! Both of the Palm Beach Dressage Series will be qualifiers for the 2009 season. The 2009 qualifying season is: September 22, 2008 through September 6, 2009.
