Breed ONLY Specific shows are NOT allowed to be CBLM Qualifiers.

Please be sure your qualifying competition STATES in their Prize List and Program that they are a CBLM Qualifying Competition! Not all in Region 1 are!

2025 CBLM Important Rules

--> Children Riders MAY qualify using the FEI Children Team or FS tests for the Second Level Finals. They will compete at the CBLM Finals in Second Level Test 2 and/or Second Level Freestyle

 

--> Young Riders will use the SENIOR qualifying score for TRAINING & FIRST   levels.

--> Junior Riders ONLY will compete in the Junior Division for TRAINING & FIRST   levels.

--> Junior & Young Riders will compete together for  SECOND, THIRD & FOURTH levels.

--> CBLM Age for all Levels: is determined by the age of the rider as of DECEMBER 1: Children = 12 -14; Junior = 18 & under; Young Rider = 19 - 21; Senior = 22 and older.

--> FEI Intermediate II ONLY may be used to qualify in the FEI Medium Tour.

--> Division A riders may ride in Division B, but Divsion B riders may NEVER ride in Divsion A at the Championships

--> Regardless of the Division entered, only ONE Level per entrant (A or B, not both) may be ridden in at the Championships

To qualify for the DSE Championships, just the Rider needs to be a member of a participation GMO. When the rider submits a regular CBLM score, Jr, YR & AA will automatically be qualified for the Division they are eligible for. If an AA rider later submits a score from a higher level, their qualification will changed to the higher level.

The CBLM & ESDCTA organizations are very excited to be offering these new Championship Divisions in 2025!

You only have to receive to ONE qualifying percentage score, the RIDER be a member at the time of qualifying of a participating USDF GMO to qualify. But it is the RIDER'S responsibiblity to submit the CBLM qualification form to the Qualifying secretary. Please review all of the 2024 Rules to insure your understanding of how these Championships are run.

Senior Rider Division Rules

  • Training Level and the First Level Finals for senior riders will consist of two divisions: A) riders who have not competed at or above Third Level at an USEF licensed show; B) riders who have competed at or above Third Level at an USEF licensed show.

  • Second through Third Levels for senior riders will consist of two divisions: A) riders who have not competed at or above the FEI Prix St. Georges level or in any of the FEI Young Rider levels at an USEF licensed show; B) riders who have competed at or above the FEI Prix St. Georges level or in any of the FEI Young Rider levels at an USEF licensed show.

  • Fourth Level for senior riders will consist of two divisions: A) riders who have not competed at or above the FEI Intermediaire I at an USEF licensed show; B) riders who have competed at or above the FEI Intermediaire I at an USEF licensed show.

  • Prix St Georges for senior riders will consist of two divisions: A) riders who have not competed at or above the FEI Intermediaire II at an USEF licensed show; B) riders who have competed at or above the FEI Intermediaire II at an USEF licensed show.

Please be sure that you have joined your participating GMO prior to qualifying and that the competition you are using to qualify at is offering CBLM qualifying classes - the prize list should state this.
